| Epithelial cells serve as an important source of myofibroblasts through epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in
fibrosis and tumor invasion and metastasis. Several factors act on snail and regulate the process of EMT. The studies on mechanism of
transcriptional factor snail on epithelial-mesenchymal transition can supply important information for therapeutic strategy. |
