Objective:To observe the effects of dexmedetomidine combined with propofol on stress response, reproductive hormones, serum nerve growth factor (NGF), neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and S100β protein in patients undergoing transurethral resection of prostate (TURP). Methods:160 TURP patients who were admitted to The Second Affiliated Hospital of the Chinese People''s Liberation Army Air Force Medical University from May 2020 to May 2023 were selected and divided into control group (80 cases, propofol anesthesia) and observation group (80 cases, dexmedetomidine combined with propofol anesthesia) according to random number table method. The perioperative indexes, serum stress response indexes, reproductive hormones, incidence of postoperative delirium, serum NGF, NSE, S100β protein and adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results:Compared with control group, first time out of bed, recovery time, hospitalization time and first feeding time in observation group were shorter, and the incidence of postoperative delirium was lower (P<0.05). Compared with control group 1d after operation, epinephrine (NE), cortisol (Cor), testosterone (T), estrogen (E2), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), NSE, S100β protein in observation group were lower, and NGF was higher (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions: There was no difference between the control group of 6.25% and the observation group of 5.00% (P>0.05). Conclusion:The combination of dexmedetomidine and propofol can reduce the stress response, reduce the level of the incidence of postoperative delirium, improve reproductive hormones levels and regulate the levels of serum NGF, NSE and S100β protein in TURP patients, and with good safety . |
