Objective:To study the comorbid conditions and influencing factors of diabetic patients with ED and depression, and
observe the effects of depression on DMED.Methods:Erectile function and depression scores were evaluated in 500 cases of male
diabetic patients. DMED patients were divided into the depression group and non-depression group. The age, course of disease, blood
pressure, blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, blood lipid, and C-peptide, serum testosterone(T), prolactin (PRL) and estradiol (E2)
levels were recorded. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the related risk factors for DMED concurrent depression. Results:DMED and depression comorbidity rate was 73%, DMED concurrent depression scale index was high. Single factor logistic regression
analysis showed average age, course of disease, body mass index (BMI), blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, blood lipid, hormone
level were the influencing factors of DMED concurrent depression, while multiariable logistic regression equation suggested age, course
of disease, serum testosterone level were the influencing factors of DMED concurrent depression. Conclusion:The comorbidity rate of
DMED and depression was high, age, course of disease, serum testosterone level were the influence factors of diabetic ED and
depression. |
